(Persero) Regional Division I North Sumatra officially ended the Christmas Transport period
and New Year (Nataru) 2025/2026 with achievements that exceed expectations.
It was recorded that 183,916 customers had used train services
for an 18 day transportation period starting from 18 December 2025 until 4
January 2026. This figure reflects an increase of 11% compared to the period
the same as in the previous year which served 165,083 customers.

This number has increased by 10% compared to last year’s peak density
recorded 11,171 customers. The consistency of this increase is clear evidence
that public trust in rail transportation as the main mode
continues to strengthen.

Two fleets are favorites
The main thing for people to do mobility during this long holiday. Putri Deli train
recorded serving 79,572 customers, a 20% jump compared to the year period

by 30% with a total transport of 37,635 customers.
Successful transportation period
Nataru this time is also supported by excellent operational aspects, where
level of punctuality (on time performance) of departures and arrivals
succeeded in achieving a perfect score, namely 100%. Anwar emphasized that it would run smoothly
uninterrupted operation means this is inseparable from solid support
