PT Asuransi BRI Life officially launched its newest insurance product, Digital Insurance or Mobile Digital Insurance. This product is designed to provide a protection solution that is flexible, relevant to the activities of modern society, and accessible end to end via the official platform
BRI Life Operations Director, Andrew Bainsaid that MODI is part of the company’s digital transformation strategy in expanding access to insurance protection in a more practical and inclusive manner.
“MODI is a digital insurance product that can be accessed directly without complex administration processes. The entire process, from selecting packages, purchasing policies, to monitoring policies, is carried out online, thus providing convenience, speed and comfort for people in obtaining protection anytime and anywhere.” said Andrew.
The launch of this product is motivated by changes in consumer behavior which increasingly prioritizes the convenience and speed of digital services, including meeting protection needs for various specific activities such as sports, travel, religious activities and certain events. This initiative is also part of BRI Life’s strategy to expand its digital-based product portfolio to improve customer experience, expand market penetration and strengthen competitiveness in the insurance industry.

Andrew said, “We are very proud to be able to introduce MODI to the community. This product is intended to help Indonesian people maintain their financial sustainability, with a variety of protection insurance packages to suit their needs, so that this product can be a protection solution that is relevant to various life activities,” said Andrew.
Andrewadding that MODI comes with six activity-based insurance package options.
“We understand that each individual has a different risk profile and protection needs. By presenting six product packages in the MODI ecosystem which can be accessed via , BRI Life offers more targeted protection (customized coverage), premiums that are proportional to risk, as well as a more segmented and effective communication approach,” explained Andrew.
This strategy also supports optimizing digital market penetration, increasing conversion rates, and strengthening MODI’s positioning as a digital insurance product that is flexible and adaptive to modern lifestyles.
